New York rapper Buckshot was attacked by a trio of thugs in Brooklyn

A trio of assailants associated with gun-toting, murderous squatter icon Brooklyn rapper Buckshot as they “attempted to Tupac” he said the musician.

The rapper was seriously injured and hospitalized after the Oct. 28 brawl in which a gang of thugs attacked him outside an East Flatbush building he owns.

The member of rap supergroup Boot Camp Clik was attacked shortly before 5pm on East 51st Street. NYPD investigates gang attack.

The violent incident left him with a concussion, a broken nose and knots on his forehead, Buckshot, 49, exclusively told The Post.

“There were at least three guys. They hit me with the gun twice. I still got a knot on the back of my head,” said the rapper, who was out of the hospital and recovering on Friday.

Disturbing footage of the attack’s aftermath, filmed by bystanders and widely shared on social media, shows a bloodied Buckshot on the ground struggling to his feet.

He can be heard in the clip calling for an ambulance as he holds his swollen and battered head.

The “Who Got the Props” rapper, who grew up in Crown Heights, co-founded the record label Duck Down Music.

Buckshot claimed the attack was orchestrated by a known career criminal in that neighborhood. The Jamaican-born man used the property for years as a base of operations and stored ghost cars in the driveway, the rapper explained.

“He preys on people and goes around scamming old women’s houses,” Buckshot said. “He is a fact thief and a master con artist. (Previous owner) warned me about him, but I thought I would be able to talk to him. I tried a few times and it just wasn’t (responsive).

“He wanted to get paid on the streets and keep the place going.”

When Buckshot began cleaning out the “dilapidated” home, previously owned by one of the scam’s elderly victims, the scammer called 911 and told officers he owned the property.

Buckshot paid $46,000 for the three-family home in August, property records show.

Pretty soon, he said, younger men in the neighborhood started telling him, “Stop coming to the block.”

They also tried to antagonize him; a video shot by one of his attackers, shot just before the attack surfaced on Friday, shows a man filming Buckshot while repeatedly calling him “spitch.”

“These fake Crips were his enforcers,” Buckshot insisted, adding that his attackers were in their late teens. “They were his friends.”

Buckshot claims the man behind the video “pushed me and so I pushed him back.” The man then called his friends on the phone. “He’s like, ‘Finally hit me bro, come around the block,’ and I’m like, what the hell is going on?”

Moments later, the thugs ganged up on him.

“It is what it is,” said Buckshot. “Everybody supports him. I broke an operation and the team he meets with will do what he says.”

The rapper said he is still recovering from his injuries and is working with his own legal team and the police “to make sure this matter is handled properly.”

Police have begun investigating the attack but have yet to make any arrests, the NYPD said.

Buckshot said he was undeterred by the brutal attack and would continue work on the house.

“I don’t accept bullies,” he said. “It is unfortunate what happened. But I’m not running.”
