EL SERENO, Calif. (KCAL/KCBS) – Police have arrested a naked man after he was discovered living under a 93-year-old Los Angeles grandmother’s home.

The grandmother, who lives alone, told family members she had been hearing noises from under her house for months. Her grandson said he thought it was probably an animal.

But when the family heard loud noises coming from under the house on Thursday night, they called the police. The police ended up finding a man under the house. He initially refused to come out, but eventually surrendered a few hours later.

The victim’s nephew said officers found blankets and food under the house and believe the man came in at night and left in the morning.
