Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres world tour has been full of unforgettable moments, but one of their recent concerts in Sydney stole the limelight. During their show on October 6 at the Accor Stadium, vocalist Chris Martin invited a security guard on stage – and what followed left the crowd stunned. The security guard stole the show with his electrifying dance moves, sparking a frenzy of applause and cheers.

A video from the Sydney concert was recently posted by a social media user. The clip shows Chris Martin walking off stage while performing his 2017 hit Something Just Like This and tapping a security guard on the shoulder. The security guard, who had been facing the crowd, was invited by Chris to join the band on stage. In a heart-warming moment, Chris then presents the security guard with an alien shoe – one of his concert signature items.

As the video progressed, the security guard stole the show with an impromptu dance performance that left the crowd roaring with excitement. Without any hesitation, he let loose and showed off his moves, completely owning the stage. The audience couldn’t get enough, bursting into loud cheers as they danced their hearts out. The caption of the post captured the moment perfectly. It read: “When we embrace our flaws, we shine brighter and inspire others. This guy really deserves a raise. Coldplay chose it during the Sydney tour and it was (fire and heart emoji).

Reacting to the clip, one user wrote: “What a vibe, we need it every chance we get.”

Another gushed: “That was so good!”

“He saw an opportunity and took it,” read a third comment.

“The mask gave him power,” another user remarked.

Many users revealed that the security guard plays in almost every Coldplay concert.

Coldplay delighted their fans with the release of their tenth studio album, Moon Music, on October 4th. As part of the Music of the Spheres project, the album features collaborations with talented artists such as Jon Hopkins, Lil Simz and Ayra Starr, further elevating the band’s innovative and dynamic musical journey.

Coldplay’s final leg of Music of the Spheres will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium.
