Radnor police charge Bryn Mawr man in connection with a dozen burglaries

RADNOR — Following the arrest and indictment of a Main Line man on multiple burglary charges, Radnor police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying stolen property and facilitating its return to its owners.

Late last week, police charged Jeremy Meltzer, 33, of Bryn Mawr, in connection with multiple thefts that took place between early February and October of this year.

According to police, on Nov. 1, Radnor detectives Nicholas DeMayo and William Meyer executed search warrants on Meltzer’s residence and vehicle, where they recovered more than $34,000 in confirmed stolen property.

Items recovered include electronics such as Apple iPads, Google Chromebooks and MacBooks reported stolen from a local school. Other high-value items, including tool kits and coolers, are among the remaining recovered materials that have yet to be returned to their owners. These items were reported stolen from storage lockers attached to an apartment complex on the 200 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue.

These items remain in police custody and the public is asked to contact Radnor Police for identification and reunification.

Meltzer was charged with 12 counts of theft and dozens of counts of theft and receiving stolen property. Following a trial, Meltzer was sent to prison in Delaware after failing to post 10 percent of his $250,000 bail.

Residents who have experienced recent thefts or recognize Meltzer as a suspect are urged to contact the Radnor Township Police Department at 610-688-0503 to help identify additional property and facilitate its return.
