JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. (KCTV) – An Olathe man is facing at least one felony charge after shooting up a mental health facility Thursday night in Johnson County.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said Joseph S. Longman, 34, has been identified as the man who opened fire outside the Johnson County Mental Health Center.

Longman was observed shooting in front of the building as sheriff’s office deputies drove to the area of ​​the building in Olathe.

Longman was booked into the Johnson County Detention Center just before 11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, and faces one count of aggravated assault.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said it is investigating the incident.

Authorities said the building was locked down and no injuries were reported.
