Billie Eilish slams Donald Trump after winning 2024 election

Billie Eilish took a moment during her concert in Nashville on Wednesday night to address the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, which saw Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris.

During the show Eilish spoke to her fans and explained how he felt when he woke up to the results.

“I couldn’t figure out how to do the show on this day, but as the day went on, I felt like it was a privilege to do this with you guys and that we have this at a time like now,” the Grammy-winning artist , which Harris previously claimedhe said. “I love you so much and I want you to know that you’re safe with me and you’re protected here and you’re safe in this room.”

She explained that she was going to perform a song she wrote with her brother and frequent collaborator Finneas O’Connell, which is about the “abuse that exists in this world against women” and the experiences she and people on who knows them.

“To tell you the truth, I’ve never met a single woman who didn’t have an abuse story,” Eilish said. “I’ve even dealt with some things and I’ve been taken advantage of and I’ve been, you know, my boundaries have been pushed, to put it politely.”

The Oscar winner continued: “Now, a person who is a convicted predator, let’s say. God, my heart is racing. Someone who hates women so deeply is about to be president. So this song is for all the women out there.”

Then Eilish performed it Happier than ever the song “Your Power”, which begins with the lyrics, “Try not to abuse your power / I know we didn’t choose to change / You might not want to lose your power / But having it is so strange / She said you’re a hero, you played the part / But you blew it in a year, don’t act like it was hard.”

“We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet and our democracy,” Eilish said as she endorsed the vice president. “Vote like your life depends on it, because it does.”

O’Connell added: “We cannot let extremists control our lives, our freedoms and our future. The only way to stop her and the dangerous agenda of Project 2025 is to vote and elect Kamala Harris.”

The “Birds of a Feather” artist has done it before he posted on his Instagram Story earlier, writing, “It’s a war on women.”

At her own concert in Seattle on Wednesday, Apparently, Sabrina Carpenter also addressed the election result.

“I hope we can be a moment of peace for you, a moment of safety,” she said on stage. “I feel sorry for our country and the women here, I love you so so much and I really hope for the rest of this night you can enjoy yourself because you absolutely deserve it.”

Earlier this week, the nonprofit Headcount, which partnered with the “Please Please Please” singer during her Short n’ Sweet Tour, announced that registered more voters than any other artist, reaching 35,814 voters, with another 263,087 voters engaged outside of registration.
