Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run crash in southeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – Police are searching for the driver who hit a pedestrian and sped off, leaving the victim injured on the roadway.

According to officers, the pedestrian was crossing the Hancock Expressway north of Milton Proby around 8:45 Monday night when he was struck. The pedestrian was seriously injured and was rushed to hospital after the police arrived at the scene. Police have not said whether a passerby called in the crash.

At the time of writing, there is no description of the suspect vehicle.

The victim’s condition had not been updated as of Tuesday morning.
