The police broke the hideout of the kidnappers, rescued 14 victims; arrest five suspects in Nasarawa

Men of the Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested at least five suspected kidnappers and rescued 14 victims.

According to a statement from the spokesman of the command, Ramhan Nansel, the operation was carried out by officers from the Toto Division in collaboration with the youth of the community.

The PPRO said the operation took place when the officers stormed a densely forested area bordering the FCT and Kogi State.

The rescued victims were identified as Adamu Abdullahi, Musa Ahmed and Auwal Adamu from Kuje, FCT – Abuja; Hussaini Yakubu, Haruna Usman, Jibrin Bature, Isyaka Yakubu, Sule Bello and Yusuf Yusuf, all men from Lapai, Niger State.

Others include Yusuf Tashai and Kabiru Iliya from Rubuchi area of ​​FCT as well as Sabo Yakubu, Sagir Iliya and Yunusa Danladi from Tanshi village, Kuje Area Council, FCT – Abuja.

The five arrested suspects have been identified as Shuaibu Garba, Umar Mohammed, Yakubu Kasim, Mustapha Adamu and Abdul Mohammed.
