Nevada State Police have identified a Las Vegas man in a fatal L-11 motorcycle crash

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police have identified 37-year-old Christopher Garrett Kaiser as the victim in a fatal crash Friday morning.

State police responded to the crash just before 4 a.m. near Sunset Road on the 11th exit ramp in Henderson.

NSP reported that Kaiser was driving a black 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle. He was traveling eastbound on Sunset Road in the left lane while attempting to enter the northbound exit ramp at a red light. A white 2014 Volkswagen GTI Hatchback was also turning left onto the westbound exit ramp.

The vehicle would have headed into the path of the motorcycle. The rider tried to swerve out of the way, but failed. Kaiser collided with the vehicle, causing it to be ejected.

Police said Kaiser died at the scene.

The NSP says it has so far investigated 63 fatal crashes that have claimed 71 lives in 2024.

The Nevada State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.

This is a developing story.
