3 Arrested After Rockford Police Recover Guns, Drugs

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Police are arresting three people in Rockford after officers allegedly found guns and three types of drugs during a search of homes in the city.

Jason Bryant, 29, is charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver ecstasy pills, possession with intent to deliver cannabis, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, failure to possess of a valid FOID and a valid aggravated warrant. battery/mob action.

Enrique Dozal, 21, is charged with possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, no valid FOID and an outstanding warrant for aggravated battery/mob.

Aarionte Mahone, 27, is charged with aggravated battery/mob.

According to Rockford police, officers and detectives searched homes the morning of Oct. 31 in the 1800 block of Brownfield Road, 300 block of N. Horace Ave. and the 1600 block of 16th Street. Police say they found three guns, one of which had an altered serial number, more than 28 grams of cocaine, about half a kilogram of cannabis, scales, cash and more than 80 ecstasy pills.

According to court records, Bryant is expected to appear in court on Monday, Nov. 4, while Dozal and Mahone are scheduled to appear in court in early December.
