DONALDSONVILLE, La. (WAFB) – The 23rd Judicial District Court has announced the following guilty pleas entered during the week of October 28-November 1, 2024:

ASCENT PARISH

1. Sebastian Winiger, Alexandria, LA, age 22, pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Robbery and was sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and placed on 3 years supervised probation.

2. Brad Harris, Baton Rouge, LA, 45, pleaded guilty to theft valued at $1,000 or more but less than $5,000 and was sentenced to 2 years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and placed on 2 years supervised probation.

3. Troylia Delmore, Gonzales, LA, age 21, pleaded guilty to Conspiracy to commit motor vehicle theft and was sentenced to 10 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served, to be served suspended and placed under supervision for 3 years.

4. Judah Frank-Hagen, El Cajon, CA, 31, pleaded guilty to simple burglary (2 counts) and was sentenced to 5 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served executed.

5. Marshall Nettles, Baton Rouge, LA, 23, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and was sentenced to 5 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served executed.

6. Cameron Wilkinson, Gonzales, LA, 21, pleaded guilty to unlawful use of weapons, simple burglary and theft of a firearm. Defendant was sentenced to 5 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years of supervised probation.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Phil Maples and Brant Mayer. Presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Cody Martin.

ASSUMPTION PARISH

1. Dorian Brown, Pierre Part, LA, 26, pleaded guilty to unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling and DWI first offense. Defendant was sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on 3 years of supervised probation.

2. Aaron Prestenbach, Sulphur, LA, age 43, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to 1 year in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

3. Rendell King, Thibodaux, LA, 32, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance and was sentenced to 1 year in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Lana Chaney and presiding over these matters was the Honorable Judge Keyojuan Turner.

4. Quention Steward, Raceland, LA, age 37, pleaded guilty to simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling and was sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served. It was ordered that 1 year of the said sentence be executed, and the remaining 2 years be suspended. Upon release from prison, the defendant is to be placed on 3 years of supervised probation.

5. Barry LeBlanc, Plattenville, LA, 59, pleaded guilty to aggravated flight from an officer and was sentenced to 18 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

6. Dorin Kennedy, Boutte, LA, 43, pleaded guilty to trespassing into an inhabited dwelling and was sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

7. Jacob Geisler, Morgan City, LA, 31, pleaded guilty to simple burglary and was sentenced to 18 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served.

The above cases were prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Thomas Daigle, and these matters were presided over by the Honorable Judge Jason Verdigets.
