A man accused of attempting to burglarize two households, including that of a magistrate, at Pulluvazhi near Perumbavoor has been arrested by the Kurumppampady police in Aluva.

The arrested person has been identified as Mahesh, 46, of Pallippuram in Alappuzha. He allegedly broke into the magistrate’s house and another house in the neighborhood in the early hours of October 27. They would target houses, knowing no one was home. He is alleged to have been accused in around 25 cases registered at various police stations in the state.
