A Lufkin school bus was involved in an 8-vehicle crash on IH-69 at SH 288.

HOUSTON – Houston police are investigating a crash involving a Lufkin ISD school bus and seven other vehicles.

Officials say four people were injured in the crash, but it is not known if the injured people are adults or minors, or if the injured people were on the bus. The injured were taken to a local hospital.

The crash happened just after 10:30 a.m. on IH-69 southbound under SH-288. The highway was shut down until the vehicles and debris could be removed.

The accident is under investigation.
