The BJP’s Karnataka unit on Sunday claimed that a Lokayukta inquiry has found the 40% commission charges against the previous BS Yediyurappa-led government leveled by the Congress to be “false”.

They termed the commission’s allegations against the Yediyurappa government as “Congress’s tool kit”.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said he has not yet seen the report and noted that in several cases acquittals are taking place due to lack of evidence.

Reacting to the development, Yediyurappa said the Lokayukta probe said the allegations were false. “I appeal to them (Congress leaders) to speak carefully about it, understanding that making such false allegations is of no use,” he said.
