Chester man charged by Darby Township with selling fentanyl

A Chester man has been charged by Darby Township police with selling fentanyl in the community.

On Wednesday, Jamar L. Robinson, 38, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance.

Police say Robinson has sold fentanyl several times in the city. Township officers working with the assistance of the Delaware County Drug Task Force arrested Robinson, police said.

He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael A. Burns and sent to the George W. Hill Correctional Institution in lieu of 10 percent of $350,000 bail. Robinson is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Nov. 13 before U.S. District Judge Walter A. Strohl.
