The hit series will air throughout the weekend on Saturday and Sunday nights each week, instead of just one night a week on Sundays.

The first episode of the new season starts tomorrow Saturday 2 November at 9.20pm and Sunday 3 November at 6.30pm on RTE One and RTE Player.

Host Started said: “I’m so excited that The Money List is back! The fact that it will take place every night on Saturday and Sunday really adds to the excitement, with up to €30,000 each night.

“This season we have an amazing line-up of contestants, lucky foreigners from all over the country who have the chance to win some amazing amounts of money. It will be brilliant!”

Once again, two teams of complete strangers will be challenged to fill in the missing answers on a list.

The more lists they complete, the more money they earn. Lists can be about anything from “US Presidents” to “Madonna Hit Singles”.

The first team to win two lists will play for €15,000.

Each time the contestant gets a straight answer on the list, they will move up the money ladder in an attempt to win the cash prize.

As they progress, they can put their money in the bank or continue, but one wrong answer and they’ll lose it all.

As the winning team progresses through the show, if they keep winning, they can keep winning until another team of contestants eliminates them.
