HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A portion of the westbound right lane on Ala Moana Boulevard remains closed until further notice as valve repairs continue, the Board of Water Supply said Thursday.

The lane closure is between Hobron Lane and Atkinson Drive.

BWS said there were complications with planned valve repairs and the work was taking longer than anticipated.

It had to be completed by 7am

Motorists are advised to use caution near the work zone and expect delays.

Customers who are affected have been given an alternate water source, officials said.
