Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson confirmed to The Christian Post that he believes he was attacked by a demonic spirit in his bed while still employed by the network.

Ephesians 6 it’s real,” Carlson told The Christian Post, referring to the New Testament chapter that teaches mankind is engaged in warfare “against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.”

Carlson also told CP that the alleged demonic attack that left him bloodied occurred on February 20, 2023, two months before he was unceremoniously fired from Fox News, though he added that God “ultimately wins.”

In a clip posted by “Christianities?” YouTube channel Carlson’s footage went viral on Thursday X, during which he claimed to have had a “first-hand experience” with supernatural evil.

After First Things Foundation director John Heers asked if “the presence of evil causes people to wonder about good,” Carlson replied, “That happened to me.”

Carlson claimed he was attacked in his bed at night by what he assumed was a demonic entity.

“I was attacked while I was sleeping with my wife and four dogs and they maimed me, physically maimed me,” he said.

“In a spirit attack by a demon?” Heers asked.

“Yes, by a demon,” answered Carlson. “Or by something unseen that left claw marks on my sides.”

Carlson said that after inspecting her body following the attack, “I had four claw marks on each side under my arms and on my left shoulder and it was bleeding.”

Carlson said the physical marks of the attack remain and that he pressed him to read the Bible.

When asked if he believed God allowed the demonic attack, Carlson said, “I have no idea what happened. No one has to believe me, I don’t care, but this happened to me.”

Carlson also noted that he called an evangelical friend after the incident, who explained that such incidents can occur.

“That’s what happens, people get attacked in their beds by demons,” the friend told Carlson, to which he replied, “What are you talking about?”

Since his ouster from Fox News, Carlson has been outspoken about what he claims is the spiritual nature of the battle plaguing the country.

“This is not in the flesh at all,” he told an audience last March in Fort Worth, Texas.

Carlson’s claims about his demonic attack come weeks after former Fox News host Glenn Beck blasted Fox News as a source of spiritual evil during a conversation with Carlson in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Three months after Carlson was fired, Beck revealed that the Fox Corporation was willing to match employee donations to the Satanic Temple, though the company pulled the nonprofit from their donation portal after The Blaze broke the story.

A knowledgeable source said Vanity Fair that former Fox Corporation co-chairman Rupert Murdoch was particularly upset by Carlson’s speech at the Heritage Foundation’s 50th anniversary gala, just three days before he was fired, where he framed the nation’s political battles in spiritual terms of good versus evil.

Murdoch, who reportedly broke off their engagement shortly after calling Carlson “a messenger from God,” thought Carlson’s speech was “too extreme,” according to the source.
