says a woman Metro Boomin raped her, resulting in a pregnancy and abortion, in a new trial. Vanessa LeMaistre is suing the hip-hop producer for battery and sexual assault, among other allegations. She filed her lawsuit on October 29 in California, TMZ first reported. An attorney for Metro, born Leland Tyler Wayne, denied the “false allegations” to TMZ. According to her lawsuit, LeMaistre first met Metro in 2016 and approached him after the death of her 9-month-old son, calling him her “friend.” She claims that one day at his studio, Metro injected her with alcohol after taking half a Xanax, causing her to pass out. She claims she woke up on a bed when Metro raped her. LeMaistre later found out she was pregnant, she says, but she didn’t have sex with anyone else. She claims she had an abortion because she could not “maintain any aspect of her declining mental health” while pregnant.

LeMaistre’s lawsuit cites a series of earlier Metro tweets as showing his “unwavering attitude toward sexually assaulting and drugging women.” The suit also cites the song “Rap Saved Me,” by Metro and rappers 21 Savage, Offset and Quavo. released in October 2017. In the chorus, 21 repeats, “She took a Xanny, then she passed out,” and later she says, “She’s driving me crazy, make me baby.” The lawsuit says the reactions “were horrific” to LeMaistre following the incident. LeMaistre’s lawyers said in a statement that Metro’s posts and lyrics “explicitly highlight his intentions to harm women.” They added: “These are more than just words and it is time for him to be held accountable for his manipulative tactics and unacceptable behaviour.”

The process comes in time a record year for Metroafter winning back-to-back albums no. 1 with Future for We don’t trust you and We still don’t trust youalong with the song “So,” featuring Future and Kendrick Lamar, which spent three weeks at No. 1. The producer is expected to receive a number of Grammy nominations next week and is set to perform at Rolling Loud Miami in December.

Metro’s lawyer told TMZ the case was “pure shakedown,” claiming LeMaistre had previously reached out to request payment. “Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court,” his lawyer added. “He will file a malicious prosecution claim once he wins.” In response, an attorney for LeMaistre told Vulture, “Making defamatory remarks will not help Metro Boomin’s cause, and we look forward to proving Ms. LeMaistre’s claims in court and ultimately in front of a jury.”
