The Chief ICT Prosecutor has requested to be granted legitimate access to the infrastructures of the National Data Centre, the Bangladesh Computer Board and the Cyber ​​Security Agency under the ICT Division for the secure storage and analysis of sensitive digital evidence related to crimes against humanity and genocide .

In the letter, Tajul Islam has sought necessary infrastructure support and measures to ensure legitimate access and specialized cyber security for the ICT Division’s digital forensics lab and other critical state documents, records and servers.

He asked the adviser to take necessary steps and provide infrastructural support to ensure accurate chain of custody of sensitive information.

Tajul Islam has also requested secure server and national domain e-mail services through the Information and Communications Technology Division to ensure the cyber security of the International Criminal Tribunal.

In the letter, the ICT Chief Prosecutor urged the counsel to provide the necessary additional technical and infrastructural support for the purposes of due process and the aforementioned investigation.
