WWE did not provide any comment to the newspaper regarding the apparent lack of a policy.

The revelation comes at a tumultuous time for WWE, as previous lawsuits and investigations have resurfaced over the release of the Netflix special. Mr. McMahon. The boys of the ring process of October 23 was a follow-up to the 1992 Ring Boys scandal, which the FBI investigated but never pursued.

Janel Grant and former WWE employee sued McMahon and company on January 25, 2024, alleging physical and emotional abuse, as well as sexual assault and trafficking in the spring of 2019. Her legal spokesperson, Kendra Barkoff Lamy, made heated comments about WWE’s apparent lack of a protective policy .

“WWE has been sued numerous times for failing to protect employees from sexual misconduct by executives and a toxic workplace culture, including Janel Grant, who suffered years of sexual abuse from the founder and former CEO WWE Vince McMahon, WWE Director John Laurinaitis, and the WWE organization,” Lamy said.

“It’s outrageous that WWE claims to have improved their workplace environment, but they have no visible sexual harassment or workplace conduct policy listed on their website,” she added. “This means that WWE employees have no reference for appropriate behavior and no visible guidelines for reporting abuse. This is yet another example of WWE’s carelessness and failure to protect their employees, and we can only hope that no one gets hurt by this dangerous oversight. WWE employees deserve better.”
