Hinchcliffe’s comments in the opening act drew laughs and a few groans from the crowd beforehand Trump’s speech.

Hinchcliffe’s opening act comes as the 2024 presidential candidates try to drive home a national message. A spokesman for the Trump campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
