Woman accused of throwing dog off two-story balcony, police said

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman has been charged with animal cruelty after she was accused of throwing a dog off a two-story balcony, according to an affidavit.

The woman, Keosha Glenn, 21, asked two victims if she could stay the night with them.

The victims told police they initially agreed, but after speaking with property management, they said they could not have any guests stay with them.

They allowed Glenn to leave his things with them to keep and pick up the next day.

The next day, on October 14, Glenn and six other people showed up at the victim’s place and allegedly started knocking on the door.

As one of the victims opened the door, Glenn pushed it in and pushed one of the victims, causing them to fall to the ground, the report said.

Glenn then allegedly pepper sprayed the other victim and punched her, police said. Six other people began punching and kicking the woman, according to the affidavit.

Glenn grabbed his things and started to walk out. Before leaving, police said Glenn grabbed the victim’s dog and threw it off the two-story balcony, breaking the dog’s legs.

Glenn fled the scene in a bus. Witnesses were able to obtain photos of her and compared her to photos the victims had of Glenn.

Police arrested Glenn on Oct. 24 and charged her with animal cruelty, aggravated burglary and assault.
