Former Republican congresswoman Liz Cheney attacked Jeff Bezoss and The Washington Post on Saturday during an interview in which she also said she had canceled her newspaper subscription.

In the middle Posthis the decision not to run an approval for vice president Kamala Harris less than two weeks before the election, the newspaper was the subject of internal and external work CRITICAL – all of which was thoroughly enjoyed online by much of the right.

However, conservative Cheney said Saturday at the 25th annual New York The festival found nothing funny about the no-approval, which it attributed to cowardice.

Daughter of the former vice president Dick Cheney said Bezos was driven by “fear” when talking to New York editor David Remnick

“In the matter of the Washington Post, look, first of all, it’s fear.” Liz Cheney continued: “When it seems that Jeff Bezos is afraid to issue an endorsement to the only candidate in the race who is a stable responsible adult because he fears Donald Trump, that tells you why we have to work so hard to ensure that Donald Trump is “I chose.”

“And I also think why we should not forget what happened, forget who took brave and courageous stands. And I canceled my subscription to the Washington Post, just saying.”

CNN reported on Bezos’ suspected role in his publication, which no longer endorses political candidates:

Jeff Bezos has so far declined to comment on the situation, even though reporters at his newspaper reported that it was Bezos who ultimately backed the planned approval. A source with knowledge told CNN on Friday that an endorsement from Vice President Kamala Harris was drafted before it was squashed.
