Social media videos allowed us to identify where a truck plowed into people at a bus station in central Israel and tell us more about the consequences and response.

It happened on Sderot Aharon Yashiv road at the top of the Glilot and Ramat Hasharon areas north of Tel Aviv.

From videos shot in an open space across the road, we can see armed men in uniform surrounding the open driver’s door of the truck next to a green coach.

We can tell the location from this spot, the look of the evergreens and palm trees, and the corrugated fence and roof behind the bus station, as well as the identifiable Israeli license plates, emergency vehicles, and police uniforms.

Heading north on the road, the handheld and dashcam images show the same scene. We can see people in Israeli army uniform, as well as the same trees, emergency vehicles, the truck and the coach.

Closer up, we can see at least six people pinned to the pavement under the truck. Most of them look middle-aged and dressed in civilian clothes. Most are talking or moving, but at least one seems limp and pulled by the people on the scene.
