This country star and his wife are hoping for a big life announcement

There could be another shot at paternity for Jelly Roll? There is a strong possibility.

The country star and his wife of eight years,”Dumb Blonde” podcast host Bunny Xo — whose real name is Alyssa DeFord — hope to expand their family — a longtime dream of theirs.

The couple currently have full custody of the “Halfway to Hell” singer’s 16-year-old daughter Bailee and co-parent son Noah, 8, from a previous relationship.

But the pair recently opened up about the exciting news and revealed that Xo, 44, had undergonein the IVF process since June and the two plan to use a surrogate to have their first child together.

“This has been their dream for a while,” a source said Life and style. “They are very excited to do this.”

For the superstar, the new baby is another attempt to get things right from the start.

Living a rough life as a teenager and adult, the singer – whose real name is Jason DeFord – was in and out of prison and struggled with substance abuse. But after the birth of Bailee, he understood life. His big break came in 2022 with the release of country hits like “Need a Favor” and “Son of a Sinner,” which earned him three CMT Awards in 2023.

In those early days, Bunnie Xo, who was an escort at the time, supported her dreams.

The following year, the country star was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist.

“Now that Jelly has finally made it in the music industry, he can give a kid a better life than what his older kids had—a nice house, nice things, money for college, security, and most importantly, devotion and his time. ” added the source.

According to the source, while it took some time for Bunnie Xo to adjust to the thought of a surrogate, this was because the couple tried to conceive but “it just didn’t work out.”

Since she had lost “many children” and feared the possibility of “another miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy,” surrogate motherhood was the only viable option to have a biological child. So, they hope to use their own embryo.

Bunnie Xo revealed the exciting news while discussing the topic during an episode of podcasts last month. At the time, she admitted she was afraid of using donor eggs, thinking, “What if I have a problem bonding with the baby?”

But beyond that, it’s great news for the couple hoping to be parents-to-be.

“Now that Bunnie has learned more about the surrogacy process, she thinks it’s a beautiful way to bring a baby into the world,” the source told Life & Style. They hope to have another arrival in 2026.”

“Bunnie loves being a stepmom to Bailee and Noah, but she’s always wanted a baby with Jelly,” the source added. “They can’t wait.”
