Endangered children alert canceled for two boys, both found safe in Hermitage

(UPDATE: October 24, 2024) — Both children at the center of a missing child alert in Nashville have been found safe in Hermitage, Tenn., the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) reports.

A recent arrest affidavit says Rico and Elijah’s biological mother, Sarah Meyers, broke into the home of the boys’ grandmother, Holly Featherman. Featherman is also suspected to be Meyers’ biological mother.

After entering Featherman’s home, authorities were told Meyers assaulted her until she “fell unconscious” in order to take the boys.

After a missing child alert was issued, Meyers and both boys were found Wednesday evening.

Meyers faces two counts of custodial interference and one count of child neglect. She is also accused of stealing the car she used to pick up the boys, a red Lincoln that belonged to Featherman.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) issued a missing child alert Wednesday for a one-year-old and three-month-old.

Both Rico, 1, and Elijah, 3 months, have brown hair and brown eyes and are believed to be with their non-custodial mother, Sarah Meyers.

The TBI and MNPD believe the group is traveling in a cream 1997 Lincoln Town Car with Tennessee license plate number BDL 2290.

If you have seen this car, Rico, Elijah or Meyers, call MNPD at 615-862-8600 or TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
