Bismarck is seeking survey contributions for services that support low- to moderate-income community members

BISMARCK, ND (KFYR) – Bismarck is seeking community input on its 2025 to 2029 Consolidated Community Development Block Grant Plan.

The grant money, provided by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, will be spread among non-profit organizations that support low- to moderate-income individuals and families in housing, transportation and more.

“So there are questions in there that include questions about affordable housing, questions about household income, transportation. It kind of targets everything and where some of those funds need to go and how they can be prioritized to be improved,” said Bismarck City Planner and CDBG Program Administrator Hilary Balzum.

A link to the survey, which is open until October, can be found on the city’s Facebook, X and Instagram pages or on the city’s website.
