Now, the soccer fan is looking to use his internet fame for something much bigger than millions of views. Knowing this actor Matthew McConaughey is a big Texas Longhorns fan, Walther called, challenging the actor to cut his hair for charity.

“I know Matthew McConaughey used to cut players” Walther said. “Maybe he can cut mine on the field and raise some money for cancer awareness. My grandmother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and then beat it. This is the perfect platform for me to support the things I care about the most.”

“I like the idea of turning this into some kind of charity opportunity… giving back has always been a pretty core part of who I am. When you’re given an opportunity like this, the best thing you can do is pass it on to others.”

Walther even said he wanted to be a guest Haliey Welch’s Talk Tuah Podcast. “That would be one life goal I could check off my honest bucket list. I’m more than happy to embrace it as long as people like hearing from me,” he said.

Although the viral star plans to use his fame for good, he did not reveal whether McConaughey or Welch contacted him.
