The top 5 players left for the Georgia football program

The Georgia Bulldogs have one of the the most difficult remaining programs in the country. Georgia is scheduled to play two ranked opponents in Ole Miss and Tennessee. The Dawgs also have games against another pair of Power Four opponents with winning records in Florida and Georgia Tech.

Who are the five most impactful players Georgia has to face the rest of the season?

1. Dylan Sampson

If there was an award for the most important player in the SEC, it goes to Tennessee Volunteers back Dylan Sampson. He was the engine of this crime.

He leads the SEC in scoring as a running back. He averages 14 points per game alone. Sampson is the most dynamic player Georgia will field for the rest of the schedule. His 17 touchdowns are tied for second in the nation with Heisman leader Ashton Jeanty. Sampson is a hard-nosed runner who has the ability to hang on after first contact that makes him special.

2. Tre Harris

Ole Miss Rebels receiver Tre Harris is arguably the most dynamic receiver in the SEC. Harris has a significant impact in Lane Kiffin’s system.

Harris accounted for 987 yards, which leads the nation in receiving yards. In this Ole Miss offense, Harris is the alpha in the Ole Miss receiving unit, and anytime they need a positive impact through the air, Harris is their number one target. He has shown he has what it takes to be a WR1 in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Georgia secondary will have its hands full with Harris.

3. Jackson Dart

Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Jaxson Dart is the quarterback with the most game-taking ability in all of Georgia’s remaining games. Dart has the dual threat ability that has given this Bulldog defense problems in the past.

With the game being at home against Georgia, there will be an overwhelming amount of confidence. Dart is third in the nation in passing yards with 2,384 yards through the air. He has four 300-yard passing performances this season. Dart has already seen this Bulldog defense once in his career with their match in 2023. The familiarity could help Dart’s game plan to attack the Bulldogs.

4. Jamal Haynes

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have improved considerably since Brent Key has been at the helm. Running back Jamal Haynes was another reason this team trended upward. He’s a complete return where if they have to lean on the run game, they’re going to use him or even have to use him as a pass catcher.

Haynes is on pace for another 1,000-yard rushing season, having already racked up 559 yards so far. In last year’s game Haynes helped the Yellow Jackets rush all over the Bulldogs defense last year.

5. Nico Iamaleava

Tennessee Volunteers Defender Nico Iamaleava is a person who can have a lot of impact. Although he didn’t have the best season statistically, the talent is there for Iamaleava. He will be asked to create plays and make those plays that can make the difference in the Nov. 16 game. He has shown the ability to push the ball up the field vertically and has led to success for this prolific Tennessee offense that recently upset Alabama.
