The Vanderbilt star ranked among the top quarterbacks in the NCAA after a recent win

The Vanderbilt Football the team continues to gain momentum after its recent win against Ball State.

The hype for the ‘Vandy Boys’ continues after another great performance from the team’s attack, led by defender Diego Pavia. He led Vanderbilt to a 5-2 record on the season, including a 2-1 start in the SEC. The team is on a three-game winning streak that began with the historic upset victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide, who were ranked No. 1 in the nation at the time.

On monday, The Bleacher Report released its Top 25 Power Rankings for Quarterbacks in College Football after Week 8 of the season. Staff writer Joel Reuter continued to show love to the Commodores signal caller and placed him on his roster. Pavia entered as the 24th best defenseman in the country after Saturday’s win.

“With 275 yards passing, 82 yards rushing and a pair of touchdowns, Pavia led Vanderbilt to a 24-14 nonconference victory over Ball State. The Commodores have now won three in a row since their upset win over Alabama and moved to No. 25 in the latest AP poll. A home game against Texas No. 5 awaits you this weekend with a chance to make another national statement.”

Through the seventh game of the season, Pavia, a former New Mexico State Aggie, has 1,391 yards passing with 11 touchdowns and one interception.
