With just eight days until the general election, the Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris and her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trumpreturn to the battleground states for their final full week of campaigning before November 5. Polls show that rival candidates are neck and neck in the Rust Belt trio of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and the Sun Belt quartet of Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina. With just over a week until election day, more than 38 million votes have already been cast.

On Monday, Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walzwill be in Ann Arbor for a joint rally and concert series featuring a performance by singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers, according to the Detroit Free Press, part of the USA TODAY Network. Before the rally, the vice president will be in Saginaw and Macomb, Michigan.

Walz will also travel to Manitowoc and Waukesha, Wis., on Monday, according to the report Milwaukee Journal-Sentinelalso part of the USA TODAY Network. Republican vice presidential candidate Sen. JD Vance expected to be in Wausau the same day.

On Tuesday, a week before the general election, Harris will give a speech at the Ellipse in Washington, DC, aimed at swaying last-minute voters. The campaign is pending almost 20,000 peoplebased on the authorization application submitted to the National Park Service. According to campaign officials, Walz will visit Georgia on Tuesday for early voting events in Savannah and Columbus.

Harris plans to visit each swing state in the coming days, including another trip to Wisconsin on Wednesday for a rally and concert with folk rock band Mumford & Sons in Madison.

And on Thursday, two Mexican groups that have denounced Trump’s anti-immigrant rhetoric will endorse Harris ahead of the election. as first reported by Rolling Stone.

Los Tigres Del Norte will perform at a campaign event in Phoenix, Arizona, where the vice president is expected to speak, according to Arizona Republicpart of the USA TODAY Network. After that, she will head to Las Vegas to join ManĂ¡ in reaching out to undecided Latino voters in both battleground states.
