Mental well-being should be prioritized – FBC News

Mental wellbeing should be discussed openly where individuals feel supported and where resources are readily available.

This was highlighted by the Acting Chief Medical Adviser to the Ministry of Health and Medical Services, Dr Luisa Cikamatana Rauto, while addressing the Art of Living Day – Improving Mental Health in the Workplace and Communities at the National Gymnasium in Suva in this morning.

Dr. Cikamatana says that in our fast-paced world, many people are experiencing increasing stress, pressure and anxiety, whether at work, in our communities or in our personal lives.

She adds that a healthy community is one where people feel connected, supported and understood.

She officiated the event along with Art of Living founder Gurudev Shri Shri Ravi Shankar Ji who traveled from India.
