There was a slight scare before Sunday night’s game between the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers at Levi Stadium involving the family of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

According to Athletic Jon Machotathe second vehicle in the Jones family caravan containing Charlotte Jones, Jerry Jones Jr. and Shy Anderson Jr. was “struck by a rising barricade” outside the stadium. Charlotte and Jerry Jr. were evaluated by Cowboys medical staff at the stadium before proceeding to the visiting owners’ suite.

Jerry and Stephen Jones were among the family members in the other vehicle that was not involved in the crash.

Jerry Jr. serves as director of sales and marketing and co-owner of the Cowboys. Charlotte is brand director and co-owner, and Anderson, who is her son, is a research assistant for the team.

The Cowboys are coming off a heartbreaking 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions before the bye week.

After facing the 49ers, Dallas will travel next week to face the Atlanta Falcons in another matchup with a major conference power.
