Fast start and solid defense lift Bills to 31-10 win over Seahawks

BUFFALO, NY. (WKBW) – The Buffalo Bills got off to a fast start on offense and made some big plays on defense in their dominant 31-10 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.

Quarter 1

The Bills won the toss and started on defense, holding Seattle’s offense to a quick 3-and-out. Josh Allen and company took the start 90 yards down the field and capped it off with a two-yard touchdown pass from Josh Allen to Keon Coleman.

Quarter 2

Seattle’s third offensive possession saw them drive the ball downfield and they were poised for a shot in the end zone until a bad snap went over Geno Smith’s head and pushed them back from the three to the line. 29 meters. A field goal would be the end result of this drive.

Buffalo’s drive ended three plays later when Allen threw his first interception of the season.

Seattle would drive down the field again, but on 4th and goal from the 1 yard line Geno Smith tripped his own lineman and ended the game scoreless.

The Bills then put together a 12-play, 93-yard drive that led to a 12-yard touchdown pass from Allen to tight end Dalton Kincaid.

Quarter 3

Buffalo came up with three points in the first half and then forced an interception (Austin Johnson) on Geno Smith to get the offense back on the field.

James Cook would run into the end zone to put the Bills up 24-3.

Quarter 4

Cook followed it up on Buffalo’s next drive, finding foul pay for his second touchdown of the day, giving his boys a 31-3 lead and all but ensuring they would leave Seattle with a win.

Zach Charbonnet scored on the Seahawks’ drive to make it a 31-10 ballgame.

Despite a combined 24 penalties in the game, the most in the NFL this season, Buffalo exits Seattle with a 31-10 victory.
