Kosciusko man pleads guilty to charges for actions during Jan. 6 Capitol break-in

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – A Mississippi man has pleaded guilty to multiple charges in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, break-in at the U.S. Capitol.

Donald Walker, 48, of Kosciusko, to the felony charge before U.S. District Judge Timothy J. Kelly, according justitia.gov.

He was arrested on March 25, 2024, in Jackson and charged with felony obstruction of law enforcement during a civil disturbance and misdemeanor charges of entering and remaining, disorderly conduct in a restricted building or lot, and trespassing , picketing and demonstrating, and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building.

According to court documents, Walker was also seen on a Metropolitan Police Department body-worn camera approaching the police line and bike barricades set up on the Capitol’s West Plaza.

Walker will be sentenced on March 10, 2025.
