One person is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash between a motor scooter and a vehicle.

It happened around 3.20pm on Saturday afternoon along 240 Midpark Way SE which is the Midnapore Mall car park.

Calgary EMS says they took the person on the scooter to Foothills Medical Center in serious, life-threatening condition.

The driver of the car remained at the scene and was not injured.

The police are investigating.
