A man is in hospital with serious injuries after being attacked in Glasgow Green.

The 30-year-old was taken to the Royal Infirmary after the incident, which happened in the park at around 5.30am on Sunday, November 17.

The extent of his injuries is unknown.

Police confirm that inquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At around 5.30am on Sunday 17 November 2024 we received a report of a serious assault on Glasgow Green.

“A 30-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

“Requests are in progress.”
