Police Mt. Juliet arrests 3 shoplifters without the shops realizing

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) – While conducting a traffic stop Saturday afternoon in Mt. Juliet, authorities said they “discovered unreported thefts” involving three Nashvillians.

According to the Police Department Mt. Juliet, officers stopped a vehicle for expired registration on Saturday, November 16th. However, they found that three adults in Nashville allegedly stole merchandise from Tractor Supply and Bargain Hut without the stores realizing at the time.

Officials said a 47-year-old man was arrested and booked into the Wilson County Jail on charges of shoplifting and possession of methamphetamine. A 38-year-old man was also charged with shoplifting and possession of methamphetamine, but a 47-year-old woman was just charged with shoplifting.

“We are grateful for the vigilance and proactive efforts of our officers to uncover this criminal activity before the victims were aware of the theft,” the department posted on social media.
