Bengaluru: Health services and advisory firm Equinox on Friday disclosed a data breach involving the personal health information of some current and former clients as well as staff and notified those who may be affected.

The company had discovered unusual activity on its system on April 29 and, following an independent forensic investigation, learned that an “unauthorized actor accessed and may acquire certain files stored on its internal systems.”

The information that may have been compromised varies between individuals, but may include names, social security numbers, financial account information, and medication information, among others.
