Jake Paul won a unanimous decision over Mike Tyson in Friday night’s mega-fight at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, an unsurprising result in a lackluster fight shown to millions around the world – with many hiccups on Netflix.

Paul, 31 years younger than the 58-year-old Hall-of-Famer, was too quick, too frequent with his shots and did more damage to his opponent. Although it wasn’t very much.

The fight lasted all eight rounds, and Paul had a considerable advantage on the cards. Paul went 11-1 in a budding career that saw him fight their top opponents. Tyson is 50-7.

“He’s the greatest to ever do it,” Paul said of Tyson. “It’s an honor to be able to fight him.”

“I didn’t prove anything to anybody but myself,” Tyson said, adding that Paul deserves more respect for his work in the ring.

By the third round, Tyson looked worn out. He didn’t land punches with regularity early in the fight and Paul would hold his ground and move knowing Tyson wouldn’t be chasing him. As the fourth round ended, some fans began booing the lack of action.

Regarding his next fight, Paul answered a question about Canelo Alvarez.

“Canelo needs me, so I’m not even going to try to call him out,” Paul said in the ring after the fight. “He knows he wants a payday, so he knows where the money is.”

Paul arrived at the ring in a green convertible with his brother Logan, singing along to “In the Air Tonight” by Phil Collins. It was a dig at Tyson, who sang the song from the movie “The Hangover.”

Tyson walked to the ring alone.

Netflix stream outages have been a problem all around, and they hit regularly during the Amanda Serrano-Katie Taylor championship fight.

During a break, a camera in Mike Tyson’s locker room rolled as Tyson turned and exposed his near-bare backside.

In the ring, the Serrano-Taylor fight was interrupted when Taylor accidentally headbutted Serrano and caused a bloody cut in the sixth round. Serrano continued to fight, even though blood was pouring down his face.

She and Taylor traded blows in the ring in the seventh and eighth rounds, and Taylor was deducted a point for another head kick. Both fighters refused to succumb to fatigue and the fight lasted all 10 two-minute rounds.

In another standout fight, Taylor won a controversial unanimous decision and took the undisputed women’s super lightweight championship. All scores were 95-94 for Taylor.

“I’m a Boricua (Puerto Rican). I’m going to die in this ring no matter what,” Serrano said.

Abel Ramos, with nephew Jesus Ramos Jr. and his older brother and trainer Jesus Sr. in his corner, put Casa Grande, Arizona on the map on Friday’s megafight card. The goal was to become a world champion for Abel, but WBC welterweight titleholder Mario Barrios retained his belt after 12 rounds.

Ramos (28-6-3) needed a knockout in the final round, but couldn’t get it. The two Mexican-American warriors walked out of the ring with swollen faces but enjoying the adoration of the crowd. Barrios had said their fight could be the best of the night, and he and Ramos made a strong case for it.

The fight ended in a split decision, so the belt did not change hands.

Barrios (29-2-1) rocked Ramos with an early right hand that nearly knocked him down, but Ramos recovered and continued. In the fifth round, Ramos landed two right hands that dropped a shell-shocked Barrios.

Not only did Barrios look much bigger and stronger, but he entered the ring with an imposing Aztec entrance befitting his nickname, “El Azteca.”

Barrios knocked Ramos down in the second round, using a left hook to set up a right jab that floored Ramos just before the bell. But Ramos landed the stronger knockdown and followed it up with two more right hands that stung Barrios before the fifth round was over.

The show went to Paul, who arrived with his girlfriend after the fourth round. Tyson’s solo arrival at the stadium drew louder cheers.

“Cobra Kai” and “Karate Kid” stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka watched from ringside. Eighties movie buffs might know them as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence from “The Karate Kid.”

Ramos got better and more confident as the fight went on as he made Barrios’ nose bleed in the ninth round. By 10, both fighters were bleeding but continued to trade fire.

Barrios and Ramos hugged in the middle of the ring following the fight, both exhausted.

“It was a great fight for the fans, as promised,” Ramos said. “No need for trash talking.”
