Ledyard police said they were conducting traffic enforcement on Route 2 when they saw a driver traveling at an “unreasonably low speed” around 12:50 a.m. Friday.

As officers attempted to pull over a motor vehicle, they said the driver yelled out his window, refused to stop and continued driving into the Fox Tower parking garage of Foxwoods Casino.

With the help of the Mashantucket Tribal Police, the driver was located inside the casino and taken into custody.

They identified him as Bidwood.

He was taken to the Ledyard Police Department and charged with speeding, failure to signal, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to stop for an officer, interfering with an officer and breach of peace.

Bidwood was given a $7,500.00 cash/surety bond and was scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Friday.
