The victims, Dev Kumar (30) and his friend Venkanna Swamy (28), both natives of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, were riding Dev Kumar’s bicycle from Madhapur towards Gachibowli junction when the accident took place.

Hyderabad: Two people died after the motorcycle they were riding went out of control and crashed into a road median in Gachibowli in the early hours of Friday.

The victims, Dev Kumar (30) and his girlfriend Venkanna Swamy (28), both from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, they were riding Dev Kumar’s bike from Madhapur towards Gachibowli junction when the accident took place.

Police said that when he reached Gachibowli main road, Dev Kumar lost control of the vehicle and hit the median of the road. Both suffered severe bleeding injuries.

While Dev Kumar died on the spot, Venkanna Swamy was declared brought dead by doctors at a private hospital. The Gachibowli police are investigating. The bodies were taken to the hospital for autopsy.
