Yes LES gives health update after suffering a stroke

Yes LES is grateful to everyone who showed him support after he suffered a stroke.

The rapper, whose real name is Leslie Mampe, suffered a stroke on Friday, July 26.

On Tuesday, Nov. 12, the rapper took to Instagram to share an update on his health and show his appreciation for the support he’s received.

“Thank you guys for all your support, all your prayers are working! Appreciate all the love,” she captioned her post.

The post is a statement detailing his health.

“DA LES is currently recovering from a severe stroke. He is receiving rehabilitation and taking things slowly with the support of his loving family,” the statement read.

The rapper said he is grateful for the gift of life.

“He expresses his deep gratitude for being alive, saying it is truly a miracle and thanks God for his strength. “I owe everything to God,” he says, the statement reads.

He went on to thank everyone who supported him.

“DA LES is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of love, support and prayers from his fans, friends and everyone who has reached out. Will continue to update everyone on his healing process and appreciate all the continued encouragement.

“Healing will take time, but he remains positive and is focused on a full recovery,” the statement said.

Among those who wished him a speedy recovery was Bongani Fassie, son of the late star Brenda Fassie.
