OHIO (WSAZ) – An Amber Alert issued Monday for a missing 7-year-old girl from Northeast Ohio was canceled later that night, according to Ohio Amber Alert.

As of 9:45 p.m., the agency had not provided any further information.

OHIO (WSAZ) – An Amber Alert was issued Monday for a 7-year-old girl who was abducted in Northeast Ohio.

She was described as 4 feet tall and weighing 55 pounds, according to the Ohio Amber Alert. She was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and black and white shoes.

She is from Empire, Ohio, which is in Jefferson County.

The suspect is described as 43-year-old Charles Alexander. He has brown hair, brown eyes and is 5-foot-8 and weighs 205 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark gray hoodie and jeans.

The release did not say whether the victim and the suspect are related.

Officials say a previous suspect vehicle was found unoccupied. The current suspect vehicle is a 2023 Ford F-650 U-Haul truck with Arizona license plate AL 74169.

Anyone with information is asked to call their local 911 agency.
