Ricki Simkins was arrested by West Midlands Police on Saturday and charged with 10 counts of theft in Dudley and one in Sandwell.

The 32-year-old, of no fixed abode, was remanded in custody to appear at Walsall Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning.

No details about that appearance are available yet.

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “A man has been charged with a series of shoplifting offenses in Dudley.

“Ricki Simkins, 32, of no fixed abode, was charged with 10 thefts in Dudley and one theft in Sandwell.

“Over several months hundreds of kilograms of items including household goods, electrical goods and clothing were stolen from various shops in Brierley Hill, Dudley, Stourbridge, Pensnett and Oldbury.

“Simkins was remanded in custody to appear at Walsall Crown Court this morning (November 11).
