SYRACUSE, NY — A man is recovering after being stabbed in the stomach on Seward Street in Syracuse Saturday.

According to Syracuse Police, they arrived at the intersection of South Alvord Street and Butternut Street at 5:15 p.m. to find a 50-year-old man with a stab wound who was transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital .

Police later determined the stabbing occurred on Seward Street.

The man is expected to survive and anyone with information is encouraged to contact Syracuse Police.
