LAKEWOOD, Ohio –

OVI: Detroit Avenue

An officer at 3:26 a.m. Nov. 2 arrested a man for operating a vehicle while intoxicated after receiving a report of someone passed out in the drive-thru of Taco Bell.

OVI: W. 117th Street

A patrol officer at 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 28 arrested a man for operating a vehicle while intoxicated on W. 117th Street at Franklin Avenue.

Criminal damage: Reveley Avenue

A caller at 10:19 a.m. reported someone broke the back window of his car.

Theft: Detroit Avenue

A Walgreens employee called the police department at 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 30 to report that a man left with a bag full of items, including body wash and deodorant. A responding officer arrested a man for theft, according to a police report.

Disorderly Conduct: Detroit Avenue

A man was cited for disorderly conduct while intoxicated and sent on his way after he was accused of urinating on the back door of the Lakewood Public Library on Detroit Avenue at Mars Avenue.

Theft: Detroit Avenue

A caller at 4:00 p.m. Oct. 31 reported that the Marc’s store on Detroit Avenue at Cook Avenue had a shoplifting suspect in the office. The suspect was arrested for burglary and criminal tools, according to a police report.

Criminal Damage: Detroit Avenue

A caller at 9:45 p.m. called the police department to report witnessing someone slash the tires of a car parked on Detroit near Summit Avenue.

Grand Theft Vehicle: Richland Avenue

A vehicle was reported stolen at 3:38 a.m. on Nov. 1.
