Clever, Mo. (KY3) – Clever City’s police chief was charged in connection with a domestic incident this week.

Michael Evans, 49, was charged with second-degree domestic assault, according to court records.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says that on Nov. 7, around 10 p.m., deputies responded to the 3700 block of W. Wilderness Street for a disturbance.

The Clerk of the Clever City Police Department confirmed with KY3 that Evans is the police chief. Evans is in the Greene County Jail on $10,000 bond.
