SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – November is National Diabetes Month.

Nearly 26 million people in the United States have diabetes. Because pets can be affected too, it’s also National Pet Diabetes Month.

Our pet veterinarian, Dr. David Visser joined us on WNDU 16 News Now Saturday morning to explain this common and serious condition in pets.
